While I love the idea of Wordpress, as well as its functionality when it comes to pushing content towards the readers - I just couldn&rsquo;t live with all the hacks (read: plugins) necessary to force it to be somewhat speedy. Having an average load time of 1.5 seconds on a bare install, containing only the default &ldquo;Hello World&rdquo; post is not ok.</p>
